Advent & Christmas A Deeper Union
What is it about the Christmas story that is so striking? In all seasons, in joy and pain, when life is good, when family, friends, and funds abound, and when life is hard, and we find ourselves experiencing loss and grief, the Christmas story still calls to us. In all seasons of life, it pulls at the desires of our hearts. Sometimes this is a gentle joy that wells up as we enter into the season, and sometimes it can feel like a defibrillator shocking our hearts back to life. This is a story of light breaking through the darkness, of God coming to find us, and making his home and our home one and the same. This story speaks to us, in all seasons, and all circumstances, because it is THE story. He has come to restore our union with Him.
Join us for December’s First Wednesday | A Deeper Union. Come as you are. Be encouraged and prepare your heart for the Advent and Christmas season through musical worship, storytelling, and prayer. Hear from me, Tim, as I share a story of how God used His church to speak into my life, and the life of my family in a miraculous way. We are designed to live in community with each other and with God. I am always surprised by the encouragement I find when I meet with other believers to seek God’s presence and will for my life and the lives of those around me.
