Prayer Ministry
CSP’s Prayer Ministry has long been the first priority for tending to the needs of the church, its people, its leaders, and its direction. This strong presence of prayer comes from both the parishioners and the leaders, and is supported by trained teams, ever widening the net for people to practice and grow in prayer ministry.
We have multiple prayer teams ready to meet the needs of our parishioners:
Each Sunday, prayer teams are available during communion. We encourage the use of ‘Connect Cards’ found in the pews each Sunday. Prayer Requests and Praise Reports can also be submitted online.
Each week, prayer teams pray over each and every card and concern listed. These faithful prayer teams spend hours in prayer for those present in worship and their concerns, and are held in strict confidence.
Our weekly Thursday morning Healing Service is held at 9am at Christ Church in Adam’s Run.
On Sunday mornings the men of the parish gather before the service to pray for the clergy.
Teams of vestry members pray for people and ministries in the church.
Emergency prayer requests can be sent to the church office via email or phone for immediate prayer needs.
Prayer appointments are available for those desiring a more intense time of prayer.
