Galatians – The Gospel, the whole Gospel, and nothing but the Gospel.
The letter to the Galatians is likely Paul’s first letter and possibly the earliest letter found in the New Testament. Because of this, the content of Paul’s letter is largely taken up with the major themes of the newly formed Christian faith – calling, gospel, justification, righteousness, spiritual transformation, and the kingdom of God – to name a few. Just as important as it was to the believers in the region of Galatia in the first century, you and I need to hear these truths afresh, listening to the Apostle’s exhortations to remain steadfast in our connection to the gospel, which is the testimony of the kingdom of God being made presently available to us by faith.
Together over the coming months we will explore this beautiful letter and with God’s help be transformed more and more into the image of Jesus our Lord and learn how to follow Him more closely.
